Inspiring Dreams, a fundraising dinner in Oxford, was a huge success with almost £18,000 being pledged on the night. Oxford truly stepped up to the mark and showed overwhelming support to raise an incredible amount of money, which will go towards rebuilding the lives of destitute orphans around the world.

Rahim Jung, resident presenter at Islam Channel, was the fundraiser and host for the evening and set the mood for what was to be an inspirational night. His genuine passion for the cause made the event truly unforgettable.

The nasheed artists performing were Ahmad Hussain and Saif Adam. Their different styles complemented each other and they really uplifted the crowd with their powerful songs.

Ajmal Masroor's lecture about the importance of orphans in Islam was both heartfelt and educational, highlighting the moral duty of every Muslim to help the poor and needy.

Rahim Jung's passionate plea for donations genuinely connected with the audience prompting tremendous support and generosity. Countless orphans can now look forward to a brighter future.

We would like to thank Nasreen and Jubeen Ashraf and all the volunteers for organising a wonderful evening, Aziz Restaurants for the delicious dinner, to our speakers and singers for an inspirational night, to Noori Events for setting up the beautiful venue, and finally to all the guests who opened their hearts for the desperate orphans of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
